The day of October 22, 2008, was the pride of India because on this day Indian first mission to the moon by ISRO. ISRO's mission to moon lasted from 22 October 00:52 UTC to 28 August 20:00 UTC. This mission name was Chandrayaan-1. ISRO's mission on the moon was a very successful mission. The rocket that went to the moon was PSLC-XL-C11 (Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle). Its launches from Satish Dhawan Space Center, Sridhar Kota, Andhra Pradesh.
This rocket was associated with the orbiter and the impactor. ISRO mission to moon cost was 386 crore (US $56million) In this mission Launch vehicle total weight was 1380kg (3040lb) and orbiter weight was 675kg (1488lb). There were 1400kg of probes used in the orbital. For this reason, the orbiter could be made very cheap.
The orbiter moon was reached on 14 November 2008. After the success of the ISRO mission on moon, India was the 4th nation in the moon.

In Chandrayaan-1 mission rocket was
carried a total of 11 types of instrument, 5 instrument of ISRO and 6 other
countries, the countries are US, UK, Germany, Sweden, and Bulgaria. ISRO
carried other country instruments for free.

moon shapes . In this discover NASA
was used Moon Mineralogy Mapper or M3. Moon Mineralogy Mapper was absorb
infrared light which come from moon. Moon
Mineralogy Mapper can different
liquid water or vapour water and solid ice. The water was gate on North
pole and south pole because very small tilt of the moon rotation axis. There
for sunlight never reaches this place.
