MOON IMPACT PROBE HOW MUCH SUCCESS IN CHANDRAYAAN-1 MISSION :

Short description :

In Chandrayaan 1 Moon Impact Probe (MIP) take a big role. MIP was a very powerful mechanism, which was made by the Indian space agency, ISRO. In mission Chandrayaan 1 Moon Impact Probe was discovered water in the moon. In this mission of Chandrayaan 1, Moon Impact Probe was carrying 3 instruments for research and examination of the moon.

Moon Impact Probe is a very powerful mechanism that was made by the Indian space agency, ISRO. Moon Impact Probe or MIP is an orbiter. That was creating for moon circumambulation for the moon. It was used in Chandrayaan 1 and chandrayaan 2 missions which were led by ISRO. In the mission on Chandrayaan 1 Moon impact probe takes a big role. In Chandrayaan 1 mission Moon Impact Probe had discovered water in the moon. Moon Impact Probe used in± Chandrayaan 1 and it was separated from a moon orbiting on November 14, 2008. After this mission, sir A.P.J. Abdul Kalam saying “No nation can claim the moon as its own the resources of the moon should be common property and that is one of the moon missions”

MAIN OBJECT OF MIP IN CHANDRAYAAN 1 MISSION:

1. Moon Impact Probe had created for scientific exploration from close range.
2. Demonstrate technologic reaching specified location.
3. Moon Impact Probe had been qualifying technologies receive for future safety landing missions.
4. The probe was designed to collide with lunar surface and eject underground soil which could then be analyzed by instruction on the orbit Chandrayaan 1 for the presence of water, ice and organic and other material.

MIP HOW MUCH SUCCESS IN CHANDRAYAAN1 MISSION:

Moon Impact Probe OR MIP had big rolled for success in Chandrayaan1 mission. MIP had been carrying 3 instruments for reaching and explain the moon from close range. This instrument was :

  1. VIDEO IMAGING SYSTEM: This system was capturing the moon's surface image. In this system operating frequency band was 4.3 GHz ± 100MHz video images. This system was operating with a CCD camera.
  2. RADER ALTIMETER: Rader altimeter measuring the altitude of the probe during descent. Rader altimeter was taking a very important role in a future mission. It provided information qualifying future landing mission which was Chandrayaan 2.
  3. MASS SPECTROMETER: Mass spectrometer was for studying the extremely thing lunar atmosphere.
